Vancouver Family Photographer | Stories in Seven – June

I mean it was bound to happen. I am actually surprised it didn’t happen already. I’m talking about craft scissors and dolls and make overs. Wait, as I’m typing this I’m realizing that it has. Little J got her first hair cut courtesy of her big sis. Thankfully, she stopped at one snip. Fast forward 2 years later and a lot more determination to style it right, E wanted to give her Rapunzel doll a hair cut because, well, there was just too much of it! She figured she can give her a fresh look, much like the way Finn did at the end of the movie. She paid particularly close attention to the front hairline, insisting that a lot of the length had to go because it was impairing her doll’s vision. I cannot help but slowly to reach for my camera. I mean, how could you not? Here’s my June story: Rapunzel gets a haircut.

Oh gosh do I remember doing this as a child! It was usually behind my mom's back though. LOL Love that you let them enjoy this and capture it Felicia Chang!

It's a rite of passage to cut hair -- doll and human! This was a terrific moment to document, and you rocked it as always. Love all of them! <3

I'm counting down the days until I walk in on a scene like this. I definitely did this as a kid, now I wish I had pictures of it. As always, Felicia, gorgeous light, gorgeous story, and gorgeous girls!
