Vancouver Family Photographer | Three Grandchildren and Counting

It is one thing for me to photograph a family more than once - that in itself is a very special thing. But when I get asked to photograph their extended family, it's a new mark of trust that I am truly humbled by. This is not just any extended family session. It is one to express their appreciation for the matriach of their family, who recently celebrated a milestone birthday. Her three beautiful children thought it would be a great idea to gift her family photos of everyone together, to capture moments of them enjoying time in one of their favourite spots. Derby Reach sure was a stunning spot and the fog that morning really brought out the essence of fall weather.

It was such a sweet sight to experience their togetherness as we strolled through the park. The way they interacted interchangeable with each other's family and the way the grandparents were not often caught empty-handed without their grandchildren. I remarked to Mrs. F that this is her legacy. Three grandchildren, including a new baby boy born just a few months ago. It must be so fun to see a whole new generation being added to the mix. She and her husband laughed and said, yes, three is fun but we really want eight! Well kids, we better start working on it!
