Vancouver Family Photographer | The Year of 2014

When I decided to go into business late last year, it was because of the encouragement of family and friends that believed I could do it. Without them, I would not have had the chance to meet the families I did and to photograph their life through my lens, my way. This has been the most important to me - that these families understand my need to document their lives authentically, not as just a pretty picture. To me, it means they embrace life as it is, and it is not always pretty, but beautiful in its complexity, and unapologetically so. From birth, to newborn, to school portraits, to families, to Canuck Place, I have no words to express my gratitude for their trust in me to capture their story, no matter what state of life they are in. I am very excited to be able to continue doing this in the new year!

Each family has their favourite images and so do I. As a thank you and dedication to all the families that I've worked with this year, I would like to share MY favourites from our time together. I hope your holidays will be filled with the warmth of family and love!
