Vancouver Maternity Photographer | A Blessingway for Baby Lemon

It is not often I get to work with my dream client.

I knew this beautiful mother-to-be is just that when she told me that her work is about brand mythology and storytelling.

She explained that she works with companies and pulls their essence together to develop their team's brand. To me, she's making magic for those companies, by helping them recognize their authenticity and re-inspiring them with all the key ingredients that make up the heart and soul of their work.

So when she asked me to document her journey to motherhood and early days of parenthood, she created BIG magic for me. She understood my passion for storytelling and honoured me by trusting me to document her journey to motherhood. It's a dream come true to collaborate with storytellers.

This is the story of a blessingway for Megan and Baby Lemon - an incredible celebration of reflection, love, and hope with her beloved community of family and friends. It is story filled with song, prayers, and blessings, pulling in elements of water, earth, fire, and air. As I photographed these women and their sharing of incredibly thoughtful gifts and words, I could feel their strength permeate Baby Lemon's room and into their home. It left me empowered, so I can only image the gift that was bestowed upon Megan and her baby.
